As you may know I have been blogging for a while, longer on my special Melody blog. I have had a great love for writing for as long as I can remember; although I have self-published a book which is themed around Melody and Me; I hadn’t taken the writing as seriously as I should, particularly for someone who loves it so much. So very recently I made the decision to step it all up a gear, turn to self-hosting, and try the more professional route.
This has included thinks like designing and branding; with the web as big as it is; it hasn’t been a fast and easy process to get things up and running. I must admit I am still very much learning.
One thing I wanted to have is a logo of some kind, running two blogs plus writing fiction; it meant m I wanted to have an all-round “one size fits all”, so as not to get too confusing, with which logo fits where, and which people I am dealing with.
Searching the internet and found Logojoy.
Although I have had blog for a while; I am not entirely technical; but I have learned a lot recently with becoming self-hosted.
Logojoy, I found myself really impressed with how easy their website is to use. Popping in the name you wish to use, the website then offers you some basic designs as examples where you can slide across to see what you’d like.
Icons, they have hundreds and hundreds of little icons to choose from, the list was endless, with an easy use search bar, with the option of picking 5 the site will then generate a logo from which you can choose. You could probably spend hours looking through the different designs they can generate.
I wanted something simple because I don’t write in one area. I am Mrs S, and I write!
There are three price levels $20, $65 and $165. I went for the $65 where I am able to keep the copy write for my Logo as well as it being high resolution.
I have been able to download and add to Media Kits and Social Media platforms. I have been really impressed, I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a Logo website which is incredibly easy to use.
